The Miami International Fine Arts and EFA Robert Blackburn invite printmakers worldwide to apply to participate in their 2024 International Printmaking Juried Exhibition.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Our mission is to celebrate, promote, and share artists' works while preserving the art of printmaking techniques. Join us in this unique gathering. Explore, create, and revive legends, just as our earliest ancestors left their mark through imprints on mud and handprints on cave walls.
Theme:
Let's tap into the primal art of human expression. Unleash your creative power to unearth myths, legends, and the awe of the inexplicable world. From gods to the elements, creatures, and the spirit within, shape your vision of the extraordinary. As printmakers, we carry on this timeless legacy, leaving indelible marks on our shared canvas.
Guidelines:
Provide a brief statement of the artwork (250 words max).
Provide an abbreviated artist's bio (250 words max).
Artworks must be signed either on the front or back.l.
Include technical details specifying Title, Technique, Size, Year of creation, Artist's name, and Price in the artwork description.
Paper dimensions should not exceed 15 in x 20 in.
Each printmaker can submit up to three different prints. It could be Monoprints and Collographs, but no digital prints.
Selected printmakers must send their prints via certified mail.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the participant. If you wish to have your artwork returned at the end of the exhibition, please include the necessary postage stamps.
Artwork should be sent without any accessories, only the printed paper.

First Prize: A solo show at Miami International Fine Arts (Valued at $3,500)*
Second Prize: $350
Three Honorable Mentions
Artworks that receive awards will become part of the MIFA's print shop collection and be promoted in future exhibitions.
Sales and Image Usage:
MIFA will retain a 35% commission on the sale of artworks. By submitting your work, you authorize using the artwork images for promotional purposes related to our exhibition.

Adentrémonos en el arte primordial de la expresión humana. Libera tu poder creativo para desenterrar mitos, leyendas y la maravilla del mundo inexplicable. Desde dioses hasta elementos, criaturas y el espíritu interior, da forma a tu visión de lo extraordinario. Como grabadores, continuamos con este legado atemporal, dejando marcas indelebles en nuestro lienzo compartido.
Directrices:
Proporciona una breve declaración de la obra de arte (máximo 250 palabras).
Proporciona una biografía abreviada del artista (máximo 250 palabras).
Firma y numera las impresiones en la parte posterior con lápiz.
Incluye detalles técnicos especificando
Título, Técnica, Tamaño, Año de creación, Nombre del artista y Precio en la descripción de la obra.
Las dimensiones del papel no deben superar las 15 pulgadas por 20 pulgadas. Cada grabador puede enviar hasta tres impresiones diferentes. Pueden ser Monotipos y Coligrafías, pero no impresiones digitales.
Los grabadores seleccionados deben enviar sus impresiones por correo certificado. Los costos de envío son responsabilidad del participante.
Si deseas que tu obra de arte se devuelva al final de la exposición, incluye los sellos postales necesarios.
La obra de arte debe enviarse sin accesorios, solo el papel impreso.

Tres Menciones Honoríficas
Las obras de arte que reciban premios formarán parte de la colección de la tienda de grabados de MIFA y se promocionarán en futuras exposiciones.
Ventas y Uso de Imágenes:
MIFA retendrá una comisión del 35% sobre la venta de obras de arte. Al enviar tu obra, autorizas el uso de las imágenes de la obra con fines promocionales relacionados con nuestra exposición.
